Important — please read before using Protocolens
Protocolens is not a medical service. Nothing on this website, in the app, or in any communication from Protocolens constitutes medical advice, a medical diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Protocolens is an educational and personal data-tracking platform. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or modifying any health protocol, medication, supplement, or substance.
1. Not medical advice
The content and features of Protocolens — including the Verdict, Insights, trend data, peptide encyclopedia, blog posts, and any other materials — are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute and should not be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The information provided by Protocolens is general in nature and may not apply to your individual health situation. Individual results vary substantially. No content on Protocolens should be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice from a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider.
2. Not a medical device
Protocolens is a personal data aggregation and tracking platform. It is not a medical device as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or equivalent regulatory bodies in other jurisdictions. It has not been reviewed or cleared by the FDA for any medical purpose.
Protocolens does not diagnose disease, screen for medical conditions, or provide clinical measurements. The Verdict and Insights are observational summaries of your self-reported and connected personal data — they are not clinical assessments.
3. Regulatory status of tracked compounds
Many compounds that users may choose to track using Protocolens — including peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, ipamorelin, GHRP-2, and GHRP-6 — are:
- Not approved by the FDA for human use and are commonly sold as "research chemicals."
- Subject to regulatory change — as of April 2026, the FDA has reclassified several peptides under Category 2 status, with ongoing PCAC review; regulatory status may change.
- Banned in competitive sport under WADA's Prohibited List (specifically S2 — Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances, and Mimetics). Athletes subject to drug testing should not use these compounds.
FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonists (including semaglutide and tirzepatide) are prescription medications. Protocolens does not facilitate prescriptions or purchases. If you are using a GLP-1 medication, it should be under the supervision of a licensed prescribing provider.
It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction. Protocolens does not endorse, recommend, or facilitate the purchase of any controlled substance or prescription medication.
4. Observational and non-diagnostic nature of features
The Verdict, Insights, Overlay, and Goal-Gap features are observational. They reflect patterns in your self-reported and connected personal data and are intended to help you track your own health journey — not to diagnose any condition, determine the efficacy of any substance, or replace clinical evaluation.
Specifically:
- The Verdict ("Working / Mixed / Off-track") reflects whether your tracked metrics are moving in the direction of your chosen goal — it is not a clinical determination.
- The Overlay and attribution features show correlation between protocol events and biomarker trends — they do not establish medical causation.
- Lab result flags (e.g., "above reference range") are educational nudges — they are not diagnoses. Always discuss lab results with your healthcare provider.
- The Insights panel contains observational findings based on your data — they are not clinical recommendations.
5. Individual variation and risk
Health outcomes are highly individual. Data trends you observe in Protocolens may not indicate a causal relationship between any protocol and any outcome. Individual responses to compounds, interventions, and lifestyle changes vary substantially based on genetics, health status, age, sex, medications, and numerous other factors.
Any substance use — including substances sold as supplements or research chemicals — carries risk, including unknown long-term risks for unapproved compounds. We do not assess or evaluate these risks for you. Consult your healthcare provider before use.
6. Emergency situations
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (in the US) or your local emergency number immediately. Do not use Protocolens to seek emergency medical guidance.
7. Not HIPAA-compliant or a covered entity
Protocolens is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not claim HIPAA compliance. Our privacy and security practices are described in our Privacy Policy. While we take health data privacy seriously, you should not use Protocolens as a substitute for a HIPAA-compliant health records system if your use case requires one.
